When on Vacay

I suppose the next two weeks might be called vacation. I don't know if it is, but we will roll with that. So, I hit my 20lbs that I wanted to before I got here. My goal while here is to gain nothing. If I can possibly manage, a pound would be great, but I'll be happy staying where I am. The truth is that I don't plan on eating badly. I just don't know that I will be super strict. Staying the same will be ok. Then once I return home I can get back to working on my next 35lb goal.

And the update is...

So, I decided that I had to go hard core for a while and make my numbers change. The good news is that is has worked! I am down nearly 20 lbs from where I was stuck. I will say 19 lbs officially at this point. That is pretty scary for me. I am starting to be able to go into a whole new category in life. In fact, I have already taken myself from morbidly obese to just obese. That sounds insane, but hey, being just fat instead the kind of fat that will kill you is great! I have hit at least 2 major goals in my journey, and I am very proud of my progress. I think next week of so I will start posting some pics of my journey. It might be nice to share. I am still far from where I want to be, and will continue to have to work hard, but I can do that.

late night snackidge

My two girls and I are eating a late night snack. I try to avoid them as a general rule but I had to have something. My oldest is having peanut butter and crackers. My youngest is having celery with peanut butter. I am just having celery. If I am going to have a late night snack, I definitely can't do peanut butter. Well, I could but swim suit season is coming and this year I really don't want to be confused for a whale at the beach; a great white whale at that. So, I'll eat s little celery tonight and tell you how I am doing tomorrow.
